Reading University London Road Eat and Drink

With a brief to transform the cattle shed in the grounds of the University of Reading into a student bar and restaurant which could also be rented out for functions and weddings, BAF graphics were commissioned by Morgan Ashurst to collaborate with Architects Stride Treglown and Interior Designers Kenton Simons in creating a fun and stylish environment.

In former lives the building was home to the Food Bioscience Faculty and was used for milk processing and bottling whilst pursuing research into processing techniques. It was here that pasteurisation was developed and a vital link between milk and Tuberculosis was discovered.

BAF used their Rho 350 to produce direct to Digimura tactile wall-covering and LAMBDA print. Bold colourful images of cows on the games area walls and framed pictures of milk products around the 'Cotton Club' add to the venues dynamism and appeal.
